About the larp

Mad about the Boy is a larp about survivors of a global disaster in which an inexplicable disease killed all men in mere minutes. The surviving women are facing not only the enormous task of rebuilding society, but also the possible extinction of humanity.

The larp will run outside Stavanger, Norway on February 22nd-25th 2019 for an all-female cast. The game language will be English and the organizers welcome international players.

Providing the participants with the chance to play a larp which seeks to provide reflections on alternative social structures, family constellations and gender roles.

The world of the larp is inspired by the graphic novel Y the Last Man by Brian K. Vaughn and Pia Guerra. The larp does not use any characters or storylines from the graphic novel.

This run is organized by Aina Sogn Husvegg, Nina Tunge-Kvamme, Sarah Næss Klokkervold and Ida Foss. To get in touch with the organizers, please use the contact form or find us via social media.
